Yea, but it took a min. The guy taking the pictures was laughing so hard that the driver almost hit me wearing a helmet he did not think to get him. When he caught up the drivers response "what pedestrain?" Of course that was everyone's response.

damn. That's a funny thing, when I was in Cali I damn near got arrested for jaywalking til the officer realized I really was from VA. Over here you don't cross at the cross walk specifically for those reasons. Out in Glendale if you even look at the street all traffic screeches to a halt. I was stopped on the side of the road oggling some fine young woman on the other side and I noticed a couple horns blowing, they were waiting for me to cross! Blew up my spot damn it!

to echo rascus, here if the pedestrian is in your part of the roadway , then you have to yield to them. But then again, that is the most "interpretive" part of the law. For instance on one way 5 lane hwy's, how do you determine where and when a pedestrian in your half of the roadway?

but, yeah, we have pedstrain being hit at least once a week these days.

oh and nice pics. With that orange shirt especially, you'd figure they see you. but, yup drivers/cagers have tunnel vision sometimes.
