I can perceive why he would be suspicious, but so what? You can't ticket someone on suspicion (at least not legally) and stopping them isn't going to somehow prove they did it. I had a strong feeling if it had been the other cop that stopped me, I would have gotten a ticket for something I didn't do. I admitted to accelerating pretty hard, and if he stopped me for that, I'd have taken what was coming to me. I got stopped because the first cop saw some biker (99% chance it was me) travelling at extreme speeds, and I just thought he should have been able to tell better than that, since I let off before passing him and was cruising beside a Mustang flowing with traffic. Maybe having been there and knowing all the details would make you agree with me. Maybe not. I'm not really looking for a lot of drama over this though. This thread was more or less supposed to be a poll to see if anyone else had been stopped for excessive speed when their true crime (if it is a crime in your jurisdiction) was excessive acceleration, or just getting the revs up a bit.
