Default Just got out of jail...

hahaha, yeah right

Got a ticket for 70 in a 45 tonight , funny thing is it was in the city here on the main highway which we all know not to speed on, the one time you follow some chucklehead punching out of the IHOP parking lot you end up getting a ticket.

Other guys ran away, I was chilling in the back whistling then all of a sudden dudes start swerving in front of me weaving thru cars , breaking right onto the backroads all of a sudden. Then I looked back and saw the Camaro with the blue lights and said "damn," ended up pulling over, the guy was like damn you were gone there I'm suprised you pulled over I couldn't keep up. Yippee.

He wanted to know where my "buddy" was.

Haha. I don't know anyone.

This guy ends up following me back to my buddys storage unit and writes him a ticket too.

This guy must have threatened to take me to jail 10 times.

If your "buddy" was gonna get a ticket to......why lead the cop there!?!? Even if you didn't know he was going to get a ticket as well, still, why ever lead a cop to your destination?...

If I knew a cop was following me...especially one who'd pulled me over already...he can follow me around in circles until he gets bored, or his shift ends....

well it didn't look good though that he didn't know anyone and then led them back to his buddy. Might have pissed the cop off and decided to write them anyways.

+1. That's cop type thinking there.

I have to admit though that it's nice to hear someone not bitching that they got a ticket and instead just telling the story. No bashing the cops or trying to find a way out of it. Good for you.

You are lucky that all you received a citation for was the speed. Here you could have, and probably would have gone to jail for obstruction of legal process.

Well Im glad I don't live in Wichita... Jail for 70 in a 45 is a bit much if you ask me. Maybe double the speed limit but come on..

Good thing there weren't any cops when I did my "spirted ride" down I-95 (in the middle of the night).

Tickets suck. +1.

Are you a LEO Officerbrat? That sounds a bit harsh. If you are a LEO would you actually arrest someone for going a few miles over the speed limit?? Even if he did mislead you that he didn't know any of the other guys...an arrest over something petty like that is just wrong.

I just looked at the law for South Carolina, and they can put you in jail for 25 over apparently for 30 days.

It says the maximum fine is $200, I wonder why he wrote me $350??????

Also he went and called everybody on base, the cops and my first sergeant. A little unnecessary.

I ride with a couple of groups where I don't know anything except nicknames...I don't know their names, addresses, or anything about them...other than they show up at a particular place on a given night and we all go for a ride

The fine is probably 200, the court cost is probably 150. YMMV.

I think we got the same 25 mph here in AZ, when I was going back to Cali one night to get back to base I got pulled over doing 95 on the I-10. DPS Officer let me off with a warning when he saw my DOD sticker and found out I was an 0311. Good think, he told me if I was anyone else he woulda dragged my ass to jail for felony speeding!

Yes she is a officer and NC is the same way. 15mph over the limit not only can I arrest you, I can take your license and cut them up on the spot.
