New Lojack Program Coming to Areas!!

On a nationwide program Lojack is making the effort to assist people recover stolen vehicles for people that have the Lojack system on their vehicles.

Lojack is footing the bill for law enforcement agencies to be equipped with the Lojack locating equipment which includes the locator mounted in patrol cars, communications towers, software and computer systems for police dispatch and training of the people to operate the systems! My dept. recently recieved 4 units installed in some patrol cars. New towers will be set up within a couple of months and the software and training have already been completed. The number of units given to police depts. varies depending on dept. size and location size!

I had it on my '69 Mach I for a while...I got tired of paying a monthly fee

737, can you give me some information as far as how a department could apply for this "grant" from lojack?

Lojack explained to us it is no longer a monthly fee.

Lojack came to us and we didn't apply or anything. But you should be able to call your closest Lojack rep. and inquire about it. They gave us four units with more to come once they get system completely set up.
