Radar gun question

I know this is kinda a repost but I couldn't find the cop myth thread. But my question is what is up with radar guns. I heard that they don't work at night or cops aren't allowed to use them at night, legal reasons. Does anyone know? And is it worh buying a radar jammer and putting it on your bike? I know a guy with a cruiser that has one, and I bet they found some where to put it on a sports bike.

I find radarbusters.com to be a great source to answer any radar/laser related questions.

btw, radar jammers are illegal in california according to the FCC.

I've been radared at night, it wasn't laser/instant on though.

Thanx Rascus. Yea I'm thinking about buying one. I found this one for bikes. I guess it goes better if you dont have a big ass cruiser.

Radar works just fine at night! Not so well in the rain.

RADAR works at night but sucks in the rain...JK nailed it with that. Laser works at night too! Jammers are still illegal in most states because there has always been the argument that it prevents an officer from doing their job and advocates speeding.
