Well to help Fred scared and just to humor O'737...Is it true in Tenn a minor, if she says she's a virgin, at 12yo, is fair game? Then the legal age for consent goes to 15 I think if I heard right?

Just pay real close attention to the one that says "if the victim is under the age of 18 years old and the suspect is 4 years or more older than the victim it constitutes statutory rape".
I believe the legal age of consent in TN. is 14 but I will double check that tonight at work where I have access to the proper books to look that up.
BTW.......wondering if Fred is nervous yet?

last nite around 2am, my close friend was parked outside a apartment complex waiting for his girl to come out.
a apartment security guard comes up to his car and ask him to step outside his car
my friend says to him "your not a cop, i dont have to listen to you"
so the security guard maces him
my friend throws his car in reverse and drives to a residental area and park infront of some house. then gets in his back seat and lays down for the rest of the nite.
what can my friend do about what happend last nite? file charges???

So I was stopped for speeding and not renewing my permit and I go to court in a week. If the officer who stopped me does not appear in court, I take it I only have to pay court costs, correct? I live in Ohio and I do have proof that I tried to renew my permit before I was stopped but I was told that I needed glasses, thus forcing me to go and get an eye exam right after I failed the vision test. If I plead not guilty to both charges and the officer is not present, I am pretty safe or so I have heard. Is this correct? Thanks for reading...

Sorry I haven't responded sooner. I would say he should file charges against the security guard for aggravated assault. They aren't allowed to spray someone for no reason.

It depends on your location bro. In Tenn. they can still find you guilty without the officer being there. The narrative on our citations acts as testimony (sworn affidavit) if the officer can't be there.

I Florida the it is up to the judge. I have seen some find the defendant guilty, with the cop, and without them there.

i need some advice my wife has found out she will get some land that was left to her on her next b day we were woundering how to get her aunt who has costudial rights over it till then the only ting is we are afraid she will sell it before she is to get it is there anything we can do
