Default totaled my K1200R

An old lady cut me off and pushed me into a curb a few weeks ago on my '06 K1200R. My girlfriend and I landed in the grass safely, but my bike ate the curb. It scuffed the motor and the swingarm $$$$$, so her insurance company totaled the bike and gave me a check for a nice down payment on an '07. Here are a few pics of it. I like it a lot. I took it out on the twisties yesterday and scrubbed off every bit of the rear pilot power. It handles so well and and is pretty fast in a straight line (175 yesterday-according to speedo). It has the new ABS setup on it without the servo. It stops insanely quick. If the last bike had these brakes, I probably would still have that bike. I'm kinda glad it didn't.

Yep, the pics are of my new '07. There was an R-Sport on the floor, but I just can't get myself to like it.

Yep I looked at one this weekend but didn't take it out for a spin. We rode a K1200Gt instead this time. Next maybe the 800S

the best one is k1200s for me.i rode a 1200gt .i liked a lot .the only thing bothers me was the wind.the wind was just hitting to my helmet ,i tried to adjust the windshield but it didn't helped me.but i am so f... tallseven feet.i reallly like the sitting position, the look, engine sound...i did not like the gauges.it looks like a car.i usually ride my bike a naked fz6 so the wind should not bother me but it did.i still go for k1200s.and hte brakes on bmw's are grate.

Yikes 7 ft! Sounds like you need to be on a KTM or a GS Adv!

Sorry to hear about your K12R. Got a K12S? I can't see the pictures for some reason.

Yea, I don't really like the K12R Sport either... should be renamed K12R Touring...

The BMWMOA HQ in St. Louis is getting a F800S end of this month to test ride for awhile from BMW... I like knowing people in high places, when they get it. If I can get down over there, I will be able to take it for a day or two... and ride it around...

They had BMW's new R1200R too, if I could of made it they would of let me ride it too, but I didn't have any time ...

But NO way I'm missing out on the F800S!
