2008 Hayabusa 8500 OBO - Delaware
I bought this bike new and have been the only owner. Its been good to me but last year I got my first puppy and since then I got guilt tripped by a sad dog every time I reached for my helmet. That said, the last year and a half have seen maybe 500 miles on it tops and unless I get a bike with a sidecar I don't see riding very much going forward, so I'm selling the busa. Its a 2008 but runs great with a couple minor issues and minor scratches here and there but nothing serious. I'm listing below upgrades/mods and any issues. I'm looking for 8500 OBO cash in hand. Clean title. If interested, send me a PM. I'm in Delaware. Thanks for looking, safe riding!
2008 Suzuki Hayabusa
Custom black paint job
Trac dynamics swingarm +6" stretch
Brocks alien head exhaust with factory black powder coating
Power commander 3 with Brocks tune
Black powder coated rearsets and passenger pegs
Smoked front turn signals
Smoke rear turn signals and brake lights
Hotbodies smoked windscreen
Soupys lowering links in the rear (have an extra set of links if you want to adjust even lower)
Triple tree lowered half an inch
K&n air filter
Lowered adjustable kickstand
Pazzo adjustable levers
Vertical swingarm mounted license plate holder. Fender has been eliminated.
Currently on Vortex -1 tooth front sprocket and +2 in the rear sprocket. Could use new chain (or a link removed) but sprockets look good
Spark plugs and battery replaced last year
Oil changed with Mobil 1 full synthetic every 2000 miles and K&N oil filters every change
Brake pads replaces 3 years ago. All work except oil changes done by L&D Suzuki.
-It needs a new gear position sensor - sometimes it misreports what gear it's in on the dash indicator but has no impact on riding (I never looked at it anyways, could always tell my gear by the feel of the bike)
-Sometimes it won't start unless I cycle the key again. Its likely a bad kill switch or starter relay but it hasn't been enough of an issue that I needed to chase it down.
Comes with front and rear stand, couple helmets and jackets, and other small misc parts you may find useful.
