2000 Honda VFR 800 Interceptor
I just bought a house so the viffer needs to go. It currently has 12,8xx miles on it but I’m still riding so that number won’t be correct for long. I bought the bike in June after selling my GSX-R because it’s a much better 2-up ride and way more comfortable. Life has caught up with me sooner than I anticipated so it’s either furniture or a bike. Last owner had the bike painted red and put on white tape work graphics and red wheel stripes (All 2000 bikes were painted taxicab yellow). It has a dark smoke zero gravity windscreen, D&D pipe, newer rear tire, Silver Star headlights, aftermarket grips, tank protector, gas cap protector, and triple tree protector. Bike also comes with stock and corbin seats and seat cowl. Corbin seat ($500+ new) also comes with a backrest for passenger. Also comes with passenger handlebars that fit on when cowl is removed. Also comes with luggage brackets and old tank bag. I have used this bike mainly for touring but have ridden with true sport bikes without getting left behind. V4 engine sounds incredible. Hydraulic clutch shifts very smoothly and linked brake systems stops very well. Center stand also makes any maintenance very easy. Went for a 2 hour ride to the shore and I was not saddle sore. This bike is easily capable of going over 50,000 miles and required a lot less maintenance than a supersport. $4,600 OBO. It does not need to be gone tomorrow so please don't try to low ball me. I'm pretty firm on the price!! Kelly Blue Book value is $5,215. Bike located in Ft. Washington, PA.
