The Good: Bike runs like a monster. Starts right up, does not burn ANY oil, has no oil leaks, has no coolant leaks, has a new chain and newer sprockets. Gets a consistent 45 MPG when run for commuting purposes. Has 2 brand new Metzler M3 sportec tires on. Parts bought that are going on are a new mirror stay, and new thermostat. The bike comes with a few performance goodies:
K&N air flter
Full Erion racing exhaust from the port out
Tuned carbs for running high RPM trackdays
Steel braided Brake lines
Corbin Seat
Zero Gravity Double Bubble
41T rear Sunstar Hybrid sprocket
Additional Turn signals
Flush mount front signals
The Bad: The bike has been down twice. One on each side. The right side is just minor scrapes, not noticeable, but the left side hit fairly hard and I did my best with what i had. I did some work with the plastics and it looks worlds different than when I bought it, but if your looking for a show piece it will need most of the plastics replaced (They have full kits for $500-$800 that I intend to put on over winter if it doesn't get gone before then) and 2 sidecovers replaced. There is a dent in the left side of the gas tank. Everything mechanical works great, it's all cosmetic.
The bike dyno's 117RWHP and maybe more since it was running on the cool side during the dyno. Bike is good to go, all lights work.
I am looking to trade for a comparable later 90's early 00's YZF600R in good mechanical order. The CBR is too fast for my blood and is aimed for the speed demons and trackers, I want something a little more mild and more commuter friendly.
I will post pics when I get home although I don't have many currently, I will take updated pics soon.
I'm pretty set on something that is more commuter friendly, and I really want a yzf600r or something with straightbars like an FZ6 or FZ1 with wind protection. Nice looking bike though
