I bought another Ducati and well of the 7 steeds in the Garage one has to go for space reasons, and the venerable Sport Touring bike has lost out in the "Mark's Garage Lottery Game"
This is a great everyday ride, one of the most comfortable sportbikes on the planet, 100 hp Fuel injected, and I will miss it. Of teh 40 plus bikes I have owned I have never had one more than 5 years until this bike so if that is not an indication how much I have loved it, I don't know what is. Even Ryti will admit how good this bike is since he was there when I bought it.

Nice bike! I always wondered why they went with the silver frame on the ST and the black frame on the RS. I love my RS, and I'll get rid of it when I can't ride it any more!
Good luck on selling your bike.
Oh, and to any one out there looking into this. It's a great bike, is considered to be a sport tourer and very capable of keeping its rider happy for a very long time. It's also capable of any sort of riding that you can throw at it, be it long distances or short commutes. And at about 60 miles per gallon, you can put some decent distance on. One of the pluses that I love about mine (and RS) is that when you go some place, you usually almost never see another one out there. It's nice to be on something that is a bit of a rarity. If you want more info, just search on the reivews and you'll find out all about how nice a bike these Triumphs can be. Good luck!

Personally that single sided swingarm, and the Wolf underseat exhaust almost had me on the ropes! So now I'm looking for the Wolf underseat exhaust system to fit my bike.

Yea I had an RS also that I bought at the same time, as this (traded in on the 675 on early 06) and I loved that one too. The wolf underseat only works with the single sided swingarm, so not gonna work on the RS (Trust me I thought about it.) I did however use the Wolf Ti Slip-on for my RS and gained about 9 hp. on the Dyno with TUneboy and a the emply of a good Tuner (Tom Manley @ Manley Cycle in MPLS)
Holy shit, this is right in MN! I'm sorely tempted. I have two things contingent on right now:
1) My Honda blew its head gasket. I'm going to spend the $175 in parts to try and fix it myself in the next week or two. If I can't get it to stop being a POS, I'm going to have to spend money on another car.
2) Tax returns. I just got my W2, I'm waiting on my mortgage interest statement. After that, if it's good, and you still have the bike, I'll definitely come down to have a look. $3500 would be pushing it for me right now, but the hard bags make it hard to argue with...
