As much as i hate to have to say this up front i feel i have to in order to cut off BS offers. I am not taking offers, trades, payment plans or anything of the sort. If you don't have 5,655 cash in your hands then do not contact me. Sorry for coming across in an abrasive manner, but i don't have the time to deal people wasting my time. The bike is worth much more than what i am asking, And NO i don't 'have' to sell it. I'm only selling it to help fund my Mondial project. If you don't know anything about a Mondial google it and you will see why this will end up being a long and laborious road to hoe. Having the R1 out of my way will help
The 2004 R1 is really a great ride. There is nothing wrong with it at all. If you want a set of black factory plastics(w/ headlights) back on it you can add another 945 dollars to the price. Just took it around the neighborhood tonight so the miles will show a touch over what you see in the picture. Also note that the bike has a 520 chain conversion with (-1, +2), so the actual miles are about 20-25% less. Other than the chain conversion it has graves frame sliders, some really sticky DOT approved race tires with over 80% life left in them, and renthal grips. Believe it or not the headlight you see in the pics actually works very well.
It has a clean and clear title which is in my hands. I have priced the bike well below book. In fact its 2k below book. No there is nothing wrong with it, and you can have anyone you wish to check it out for you.
As mentioned in the first paragraph...if you don't have the cash please don't contact me until you do. The ONLY way i will hold it for someone is if they put down a 500$ non refundable deposit. Don't bother making me any offers as this is not up for discussion. If i can't sell the bike within a reasonable amount of time i will just keep it and ride it until spring time when i can get at least 1k more for it. Buy it now and save a bunch. Besides, we live in FL so you have year round riding weather anyway.
I have other snap shots of the bike i can provide via email. The first couple pics are of the bike with the fairings soft/partially mounted and without the ram tubes. The last pic is of the bike with everything buttoned down and the ram tubes in place. Sorry about the picture quality...i can only do so much with so little.
