I am happy this part of the forum is here. I currently ride a Superhawk because I love
v-twins. Within the next year I am looking to move up into the world of Aprillia or Ducati but am leaning more towards Aprillia. I love the RSV.
i opted for the in between as their not the best in the wet or for everyday city driving in RAINY london..
Im sooooo glad i got the shiver as the engine mapping makes a real improvement fitting in with the conditions.. Wet/Rain, Touring and Sports(WOW)
maybe ill upgrade when i have to do more motorway miles on a day to day, but for now this will do and i would recommend to anyone who has just passed thier test as you can get used to power difference in stages
anyway here it is .. i have cleaned exhaust since and have frame mounted bobbins but im awaiting hugger so will post better pics then

How's the shiver treating you?
A buddy of mine got one & although we all WANTED to love it, the thing was just RIDDLED with problems... it ended up being in the shop more often than on the road, so they gave him a killer deal on a Tuono & he couldn't be happier.

Really? I'd pick the Tuono first, especially the blue one, but I haven't heard anything negative yet.

so far its an absolute pleasure all round, although i do find myself wanting to have left the iron on so can can make the trip back
but as for reliability i have had no probs what so ever
they have had their fair share of probs in early production but only teething probs such as rattling water pump / overheating and a steamed up rev gauge..
thats only what ive read..
mine is 08 - 09 so i guess things are on the up..

Excellent, glad to hear it. :
My buddy had an issue with his starter getting stuck & overheating... replaced the starter switch & no problems after that... the deal breaker for him was when it went into limp mode unexpectedly probably more than a dozen times, breaking down every other week.
It was just a bad apple for him I guess they've had some minor issues but his was an anomaly. Once he rode the Tuono he was sold on it.
