Yeah, how 'bout that. That's why I haven't visited this site in a long time. It seems that once I gave up the CBR, I was an outcast. This bike is the most fun on two wheels I've had in 30 years of riding. It is so unique, people look right at it and ask what is it? Incredible power, great sound, and, it's the first bike I've ridden that doesn't have a chicken stripe on the front tire as well as the rear. I ride thousands of miles each year of nothing but the crookedest roads I can find. My last trip was 2200 miles, and I counted the sportbikes I saw on the way.......6 ! Where the heck are they? Posting instead of riding ?

I've been to AF1, in fact< it's my home page. I like the site. I just don't post alot cause I don't work in front of a computer. I'm a marine engine mechanic, if you couldn't tell by my user name. So I'm outside all the time. There doesn't seem to be a big following for our bikes here, so I ride with a few Duc owners. We ride to Birmingham, Mid-Ohio, and VIR every year for the races. I've tried to get others to join, but I'm not beggin, no what I mean. If you're ever in the area, hit me up.

How far are you from VIR? I might be heading down there for a couple or three days of track time in the spring (we usually head down in late March, early April.)
I'll let you know the details when they come out, maybe you can get in on the event & get some track time.

I'm between 4 & 4 1/2 hrs if I slab it. I normally take the Friday before the AMA superbike race, and make a day of it going down there. All Twisties !

Nice, nice. Well I'll let ya know when we're down there & you can contact the Cornerspeed School to see if you can get some track time.
If you've never ridden it, the North course is AMAZING. We've gone down each spring for the last 3 years. Always a blast.

Sorry man...got rid of her! Too hard getting good service from the ONE dealer in the area! Went with a 2007 Suzuki GSXR1000. I had just started getting used to the V-Twin and I thought she looked wicked!!! I definitely miss her!!!

thanks S107
the RSVR is a blast, you will love it. I just had new pipes and map2 set. Now I have all winter to sit and read about all you lucky basta*ds in the southern states riding your toys before I can test the new setup.
