looking at getting an aprilia, have a few questions
So I'm looking at getting an aprilia because I've heard they are reliable, I love the looks and it's just something different than most people have. I'm a freshmen at the univ of utah and for my sophomore year I can get a new bike (well new to me, it might have to be used) so it won't be for awhile but I'm going to the aprilia/ducati dealership on saturday. I'm looking at the Tuono and the rsv, but what is the difference between the r version and the factory version of each? thanks

I'm not speaking about reliability... I'm talking about just from insurance standpoint. There are other factors that's why it's important to call and find out for yourself.
Completely recommend one. Small problems here and there like rear brake and a water seal here and there - but easily fixed. Pick up an 02 or later.
If you've never ridden a V-twin before, you'll either love it or hate it.

i know what you're talking about. I just wanted to know how reliable it is because thanks to ducati some of the italian bikes get a bad rap for needing hardcore expensive maintanence fairly often. I had heard that aprilia's were very reliable but just wanted to hear it first hand from a current aprilia owner.
