I have been looking at these naked hondas and find that they seem to get good reviews albeit a lot over priced. What is your opinion?

My opinion doesn't mean much lolol as I am just learning , but I did by the bike based on the advice of another rider who told me that since this is my first bike I would not know what I like to ride sooo I should pick something that I liked the looks of and was a good size for me . I picked it cause I thought it looked different and cool as for spec's on the bike well that is why I am here ....looking to learn a but from other other owners . Beinga first time rider and my first bike it is awsome to me ! I am just happy to be on a bike

Looks like you are a loner here lol Though on another forum there are a couple guys with 599s.

DH and I are in JPN now, but when we get back to the States, we're both looking at the 599, at least have one in the family. I'm currently on a VTR250, which is very similar to the Hornet 250, which is the 599/919s sister.

Honda naked bikes are pretty fun and I think overlooked as a good ride. Everyone has their preference I guess.

Default another 599

Hey, there are not a lot of us on this side of the pond, they are really thick on the other side. Saw 'em in the UK and when I made my return to asphalt it's what I chose. Great bike, handles great, fun to ride, and gets 55 mpg on the commute! I know the price is high but I rode an SV650 and I found the motor and riding position to suit me a lot better on the Honda, (and my buddy gave me a smokin deal )

Cool Hey guys

Well, I don't quite have a 599 yet, but i'm looking for one. Currently riding an 07 zzr600 (00-02 zx6r) great bike, but I wanna make it track only and pick up a 599 for everyday use. I have an 04 599 in my sights, but if it doesn't work out i might have to wait a couple months untill my ZZR is paid off, and i guess i could go for an 06.(I like the gauges more =P)

Just Curious on how do you guys fair when it comes to the wind? I have a 10 mile commute to work @ 65-75 mph and was wondering just how nasty or nice the wind is to ya at about that speed range.

Thanks
-pr1mo

Bredebee, it's cause you look so good on yours and no one else even has a chance of coming close so they all stay away.
