Since you broke the stock one I would probably buy a set of rear-sets. Probably not even that much more expensive.
As far as how much he helps, I don’t know, I’m still using the stockers on my 954. I did have to remove the little peg that stuck down but after that I only scraped them a few more times, The last two track days I didn’t scrape them at all so I think I must be leaning off the bike better, either that or I wore it down enough so now it’s not hitting
