That's probably a good estimation. I think I was spending about $250/trackday (entry, gas in the truck, food & drinks, etc.) last year.

In my experience with the RC, tires would last several track days. Pads lasted about 9000 street miles plus about 8 track days. I'd only go through a few gallons of fuel each day.

I love my RC, but it's frustrating on tracks with long straights since you can tear it up in the tight sections but get left behind when the 1k I4's can open it up. Just for track use, I'd probably go for a 600rr or an R6.
