Simple answer: yes.
Slightly more complex answer: al Qaeda is going to have a tough time rabble rousing against a guy named Barack Hussein Obama, even if he is the US President and a Christian. He is of Kenyan and Arab descent. It will be kinda tough for al Qaeda to stir up the level of hatred, especially if Obama shows a willingness to deal with the Islamic world fairly. Add in the fact that a whole lot of people in the middle east have a relative or know somebody in the West and it gets even more difficult for al Qaeda to stir.

Obama will only have a honeymoon, though, and then it will be back to business as usual for al Qaeda.
