Stick-ons will not damage the chrome. It's just like bouble sided tape. When its time to take them off a bit of the sticky foam will be left behind on the rim. Just use wd-40 or rubbing alcohol to remove. Stick-ons will not fall off as long as you clean the spot that the weights are going well. i just use a bit of alcohol. Placing them on the inside diameter of the wheel (not on the side of the rims lip) will cause the wieght to be pressed into the wheel while in motion. The only way it will come off is if the area was not prepped/cleaned prior to sticking the weight to the wheel or someone prys it off.
