Ditto to all of the above...
If I don't wear plugs on anything over 10-15 minutes my ears ring for an hour or more once I stop. I wear an Arai RX-7 which flows a LOT of air, and is noisy as hell. That and the speeds at which I ride these days makes for a loud play-environment. As for an I-Pod? I spent several hundred dollars for the sound system on my bike....It says "Yoshimura" on it and makes the most beautiful music....
