Default Poll: remove sidestand, center stand for track day?

OK I am preparing for my second track day on the FZ6. Well, it will be my third track day period (I have CA Superbike School next Saturday!), and I am hoping to complete the following:

* remove center stand (easy, 4 bolts and no sensor I think)
* remove side stand possibly
* safety wire some stuff
* Racetech springs (which I received today) and fork oil replacement
* bleed the brakes

So I need some help on the side stand question. I have a universal rear stand which does not require spools (since the 07s at least do not have a place to mount spools). And I will be going with a group, who will hopefully indulge me and help me prop up the bike in between each session. Normally, you can do this solo using your sidestand w/ a little block of wood under it.

When you remove the side stand, do you have to put a paperclip or something in to jump the sidestand sensor?

I want to remove the side stand, I think, because I am afraid of it levering me off the ground a-la-thatguyx:

Thatguy went down...

Now, I have the stock pegs/rearsets so I think this would be less of an issue for me, but I really don't want to crash. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Also, I want to thank mbodell who has graciously answered like 10,000 Racetech installation questions for me. Good man.
