I had surgery on Thursday (08.07.08). They knocked me out and put 2 rods and pins in my hand. They also gave me vicodin (whooo House reference). Yesterday I kept busy, visited work and some friends (driving with one hand the other arm in a sling on vicodin. (hehe) I was ok until today. Hand has been throbbing in pain. I think I had 4 vicodins and slept a lot. There;s some bleeding from one of the pins. I can't see iut because it;s wrapped in gauze under some bandages on a splint. Probably my fault from doing too much. I want to be handicappable, not handicapped. I'm a little upset trying to find games I can play with just a mouse.

I have a follow up/x-ray on Tuesday, so hopefully I'll have some cool pics of my new hardware... most likely a cast on too. Insurance is also coming Tuesday to check out the bike and see if it's totaled. I gotta get too it first (at a friend's house) and take a look at it, take pics and some parts.

Currently eying a 2005 Kawi ZX6-R, my friend has. It's been sitting for a while since he got it repaired after his crash. But a Honda still looks more promising, there's always the new or left over R6. After I find out how long I'm gonna be in a cast I'll make more plans. But as of now I'm looking to buy this winter.
