All I can say is that the X-11 has earned the reputation as best ventilated helmet available. When the weather starts to cool, I start closing vents so my head doesn't get too cold. Eventually the chin curtain needs to go on as well to close up under the chin bar. Even in the heat you can definitely feel the air flowing all over the top of your head. YMMV
