Agreed - there's nothing _wrong_ with a 20 for HD. No part of the job it can't do.
It's just that...especially if you would ever consider doing anything beyond HD with it...there's nothing you can do with a 20 that you can't do, and probably better and/or cheaper with a 12...unless there's some external requirement to use a 20.
