Not in my experience. I just purchased a Shoei RF-1000 and its fit is quite different from my HJCs. My most recent HJC is a CL-SP, and on my head it feels like it is shaped rounder than the RF-1000. The RF-1000 seems to fit me more like my Suomy than any HJC full face I've worn. Maybe a different model HJC will be different, but the CLs I've had seem to be rounder in shape like my current CL-SP.
