Thanks jeepcoma, I used this thread yesterday. Changed to iridiums at 9500 miles.
The only thing I might add next time is a 14mm box end ratchet wrench.
The 14mm supplied with the bike tool kit kept slipping. I finally went and got a 14mm 6 point socket and a ratchet. That worked much better.
One question to everyone, how come the service manual calls for iridium plugs, but when you take out the ones from the factory, they're just regular plugs?
