Just a quick update for people that have this problem in the future.
I ordered the parts from Ron Ayers.com. Below are the part numbers and pricing. Shipping was quick, once I decided to go this way.
The oil pan is 4S8-13417-00-00, and is $97.51
The oil pan gasket is 5VX-13414-01-00, and is $5.56
It took a few hours to drain the remaining oil, drop the exhaust, drop the pan, re-install the new pan with gasket, put the exhaust back on, and finally put the oil back in. Pretty simple job. Hand tightened the drain plug this time and then 1/4 turn with rachet.....I still stand by the fact that 31ft lbs is to much and the seam by the drain plug is weak.
Forgot, you also have to remove the oil level switch to take the pan off.
Sure was good to get back on her after all this time.
