Default State Farm won't (re) insure me because of WIFE'S car accident...options?

I'm so pissed off right now.

I had a State Farm policy for my bike down in Texas -- $58/month. I had it for a few months up here in MD, but cancelled it b/c my bike was in storage and I wasn't riding it, plus I needed an MD policy not a TX policy. I planned to just re-insure it once I put it back on the road.

I went to the local State Farm branch today to get it insured, and when they put in my information, it pulled up my WIFE's accident from last year where she totalled her stupid Toyota Echo. They said because of that, they won't insure ME on a god damn MOTORCYCLE?!?! What the hell does a car have to do with a motorcycle, and me have to do with my wife? She's not riding the god damn thing, *I* am riding it. I'm so god damn infuriated right now it's not even funny. They said come back in 2010 and they can insure me (Must be clean for 3 years).

Any way around this? This is horseshit, and makes absolutely no sense.
