Default Question about GSXR mileage and switches 49 vs 50 state bikes

Ok so I am thinking of getting another 2003 GSXR 1000 but have a few questions.

It's a 49 state bike and it has 1700 miles on it. We got the odometer to read 7600 so that we could register it here in California. However, now that it is registered we want to roll it back to 2000 where it should be orrrr roll it forward until it gets to 0. However, will it stick at 999,999 or actually go back to 0? I don't know how to roll it back or even if that's possible, but we can roll it forward with no issues.

Also, the handle bar switches concern me. My 2003 (50 state) has no left side hazard switch and does not have the circles on the high-beam switch. I am wondering if this was swapped out because of damage or if it is normal for a 49-state 2003 GSXR 1000. Care to shed some light.

The close up picture shows the circles on the high-beam switch and shows the red hazard switch. The larger, blurry picture shows both hazard switches. My 50 state 2003 GSXR 1000 has the right hazard switch, but not the left or the circles on the high-beam switch.
