aside from all the good tips the guys here have given you, in the future just try to be VERY mindful of your surroundings. Its hard to avoid certain things like that and it does get the best of us from time to time. Hopefully you werent hurt, and this will help you be a little more mindful of what to lookfor when riding. Unlike a car where you can get away with not paying attention some of the time, you have to LOOK at EVERYTHING on a bike. Trust me on this, ALWAYS look to whats 5-10 seconds ahead of you coming up, and if you are unsure proceed with the utmost caution. Hope this helps, get that thing fixed up and ride on, and good luck!
