Great post Bush.

I wish I had read this before I bought my FZ6.(new)
I thought dirt bike experience as a kid was good enough.
I thought my old 1967 305cc Honda Scrambler in high school was enough.
I thought a nice little 600cc starter bike was fine.

Sure I took the MSF course... Just to brush up

These modern bikes are a lot to manage.

After 7,000 miles on the FZ6 and 1,200 miles on a SV1000S I am still a noob.

Don't hold the bars too tight.
You can counter steer.
Steer with your knees, foot pegs or lean.
Do you have pressure on the outside peg... or inside peg?
Where is your butt in the seat?
Where is your upper body weight?
Look were you want to go. (Easier said than done)
Establish your speed BEFORE you enter the corner.
What RPM's are you at?(can you say "power band"?)
Throttle out after you see your exit.
These bikes can corner much better than we can. (most of us) If we don't mess it up.
Your body weight is part of the suspension... not the frame.

Now put all that together in a continuosly variable problem that is moving at 100' per second... and can LAUNCH hard from that speed!

I could have had a lot of fun with a Ninja 500.

Again. Great post. You may not type it in 400 times... Just maybe link it 400 times
