Good post!

That was my R1 that Silent desomated. It was about the easiest big bike to ride fast too revalved shock and forks and flat as a ruler power band. I love her but I still haven't forgiven her. I never will that bike was my baby.

All that was needed was a little more experience and it would have ben noting to get through that corner at that speed.



Other things I advise- get gear that lasts or you will be replacing it in a month.

Get comfortable gear, if it doesn't fit you wont wear it.

Never break in a fast corner unless you want to run off the road. Those cute mid corner corrections are 100 times more dangerous than just riding it out. See Reasons to start small

That racing boot might look funny on the street but it looks worlds better than those pink casts they put on at the orthopedic surgeons office.

Trust me you dont need a big bike to go fast.
