I sat on a GSX650F yesterday in Daytona. I wasn't that impressed with it as a beginner bike. Perhaps for someone who has at least a little prior experience of some type (dirt, or coming from cruisers maybe), but for someone with zero experience I would think it would be a little intimidating. It's kind of top-heavy. Didn't seem like it would be easy for a no-experience-new rider to maneuver.

Then again, I sat on the Ninja 250 about 10 minutes before, so perhaps I was comparing it to that, which felt like a bicycle.
