Well, both are 5-speeds. Both are v-twins. The Vrod puts out 84 ft-lbs of torque, 2007 GV650 put out 45.7 ft-lbs of torque. The Vrod looks to put out 123HP for 2008, while the hyosung looks to be putting out 71HP. Dry weight on the Vrod is 637 lbs, while the Hyosung is 485 lbs. I would say that 52 extra hp and nearly twice the ammount of torque the Vrod has over the GV650 will overcome the extra 152 lbs.
