Yes you will need to remove the front upper cowling assembly. Don't forget to unhook the RAM-AIR. You will need a 1/4 end wrench to turn those screws on the turn signals. Also before you install them the MOTOTECK instructions suggest running the screws all the way in and out of the lenses. Jay

It holds at total of 4.8 gallons of which 3.7 is available until you have to switch to reserve to use the remaining 1.1 gallons of gas.
