Default Good news for future DNS changes at SBN

While VeriSign might be the bastards of the Internet for implementing their "Wildcard DNS" that directed all invalid URLs to their mass-marketting search engine not too long ago, which the world at large forced them to change back while slapping them across the face, it seems their proposals towards DNS records might be on track.

Quote:
VeriSign is to rapidly update Domain Name System (DNS) records every few minutes instead of only twice a day. From 8 September changes in the .com and .net zones will take an estimated five minutes to propagate across all 13 .com/.net authoritative name servers. The old systems will remain there for those who don't want to make the leap forward.
