On what grounds, he broke the law by going faster than the speed limit. not to say that it doesn't sucks that he got a ticket, i think any cop with some common sense would understand. But fighting a ticket because you don't like it? He admitted he was traveling faster than 65...there is no justification in the law. Any sort of leeway is up to the officers discretion, and in this case on this day it didn't work out.
