According to your avatar, you have a R6 already.
Why not make it your track bike since it's closer to a race/track bike out of the box???
Seems you would have to modify and spend less than doing the FZ6.
Best of luck!

No offense taken (though I think you've asked me this before ;) ). This isn't about my other bike. I've only added a Jardine CF Exhaust to my R6S and that's all I'm willing to do for now. Besides the fact that I love my FZ6, it's also paid off. The R6S is a few years from being in the same status. I think once I do finish paying it off, I'll probably do the same thing to it (make it a full-out track bike) and find an R1 as my daily commuter. My track skills are lame (at best) and there's no desire in me to trash my beautiful R6S. If I should happen to trash my FZ6 on the track, oh well, she was great while she lasted but it's time for me to move on. Money isn't the issue here. It's more about availability. I have two bikes, and I'm not willing to sacrifice my R6S for track only purposes. I am willing to sacrifice my FZ6 though. I've seen plenty of tricked out SV650s on CraigsList. Why should the FZ6 only have its fun on the highway?
