Default FZ6 Black-list of repair shops and dealers.

I think this should have been started earlier.

Monitoring how our babies are being treated at the dealer's service departments and/or repair shops. Post their screw-ups here, print it up when you have your bike repaired by any of the shops listed so you have a heads up from their service department that they are being monitored.

I believe the mechanics/technicians can be capable of doing a better job, but become careless and take short cuts to get the job done quicker.

1) Cycles 128 in Beverly, Massachusetts:
Stripped Axle threads on a 2004 Yamaha FZ6, scratched swingarm, scratched front rims, over-tightened chain doing a tire change. No apology from service, but contested that the marks were already there according to the mechanic who stripped the axle in the first place using improper tools. An adjustable wrench and an air tool was being used to remove the axle while I was observing. It took 5 days to get the bike back.
