It would be very minimal in how much it sticks up.

I HATE the instructions on that thing...it only covers electrical, which is a no-brainer. I wish it had instructions for taking it apart, or why it has to be mounted upright. Its just an electical motor with a compressor in there...who fkn cares what position it is?!? It shouldn't matter and to be honest, I might mount it as I want.

I have to take it apart first. "up and out"? I better re-read your instructions. I was just trying to pull it apart.
