Damn, this sucks.
I left my house today to go out for the evening. I am riding along when I notice the bike is wobbling in the rear and I go into a left hander and it handled like shit.
So I pull over and yep just I thought. My rear tire has a f*ckin nail in it. I feel the tire and its pretty low. Enough I can push my hand and make the tire go inwards. Luckily, I was about 3 minutes from a gas station. I rode it there really slow, filled the tire up, and rode it home. It was only about a 5 minute ride home goin real slow so it wasnt bad.
So I call my local bike dealership, which sucks btw, I tell the girl in service that I got a nail stuck in my rear tire and I ask how much for a new one and service to change. She tells the guy about it and they laugh, assholes. Anyway, they tell me its going to be 180 for a Michelin Tire and 43 to change the tire.
Are they overcharging me 180 for the tire?
My shop is about a 6-7 mile trip. Theres a gas station right near my house. I could fill it up and go real slow to the dealership. You think I can get by going slow only about a 10 minute ride?
Oh yeah, nails sucks.
