I dont get how this is any sort of discussion. A taller person with good form can get a knee out and down sooner and farther than a short person with good form. Am I really reading this as a serious question or is life a dream and I am the imagination of myself? Am I in the damn twilight zone? Someone pass the chronic. I'm apparently out of the loop.
The problem with form, along with many other things, is that when people think they are leaning off as far as possible they aren't even close. Get a cheek or even ass being completely off the seat isnt all that much. When you are literally standing to the side with your outside knee touching the middle of the tank, and your ass outside of orbit, while looking straight ahead at the bar end of your clip on, THEN you are leaning off.

Using GP riders as a comparison is deceiving. The thing about that is that they are going so insanely fast that ANYONE could stick a leg out and touch-down. Its over kill in its own way.
