If you're talking about the question of whether the fender for an R6 will fit the fz6 with the R6 forks installed then the answer is that it depends.....
It depends on whether the 2006 R6S has the 70 series tire on it or not and I don't know. The 03 and 04 R6 used a 60 series tire and the fender was too close to the tire when using a 70 series tire like the FZ6 has. Soooooo....the fender for the 03 & 04 definately wont work with the fork mod because I've tried it....thus the need for the fender mounting adapters to fit the FZ6 fender.
But....if the 2006 & 2007 R6S, which uses the same forks from the 03 & 04 model is equipted with a 70 series tire, then they would have to have redesigned the fender to fit properly and thus, would definately work with the fork mod and eliminate the need for the fender adapters.
