I looked into the TomTom Rider (1)...but it falls short for me on several accounts. The TomTom Rider 2 has a bit more features...but still falls short:
1. Only works with the TomTom bluetooth headset (which does come in the box).
2. Only works with ONE headset (hence no intercom).
3. Does not have standard mic and audio jacks (hence no intercom and no chatterbox and no scalibility).
4. Does not have MP3 capability (no music at all).
5. Zumo has the theft proof motorcycle mount and car mount inclusive.
6. SD card on TomTom is used for maps and application. SD card slot is open for whatever on the Zumo (i.e. MP3 files)--maps and ap is internal memory.
7. Zumo speaks STREET NAMES. Not just, "Turn left in 50 ft"...but "Turn left in 50 ft onto Main Street."
8. Zumo even has a picture viewer so I can load up pictures of my kids (and my smoking hot wife) to show the guys.

Just found this comparison: http://www.yournav.com/content/s/317...m_RIDER_2.html

If you want a GPS with bluetooth headset, bluetooth cell phone, no music, no XM, for only one person...then you are okay with the TomTom. If you want MP3, with multiple headsets (of your choosing wired/wireless), and a ton of other features...then go with the ZUMO.

By "coming with it" I was referring to the Bluetooth items where Garmin you would need to buy accessories separately. I'm not sure any company makes a device that is all you are asking for, although it would be great! Does the Zumo really do everything you've asked for?

If you have a second headset, is that for a pillion or someone driving another bike? My wife drives her own bike so I have to question if a second wireless headset would be effective if we were riding together.

Thanks for the links and effort researching the better product!
