So I posted a few weeks ago about the great deal I got on a new Cortech Tribag tank bag through Ebay.

I got the tank bag a couple weeks back and this system is pretty nice. Basically it has 3 parts to the system. First, there is the magnetic base. Second is a 24 liter tank bag that zips to the base, and has a map pocket on top. Third is a 10 liter (expanded) tank bag that zips
either to the base or to the other bag, and also has a map pocket.
So you can either use the large bag seperately, use the small bag seperately, or stack them on top of each other and use them together.
The bags themselves are awesome and exactly the quality product that I'd expect from Cortech. The thing that got me was just how tall both bags were when they were loaded and stacked on top of each other. They will hold a lot of crap, but I don't konw if I could use them in this manner on the bike. With them stacked, there is absolutely no way to see
any of my gages. They stick that far up over the windscreen. They seem like they are positioned enough out of the way that they wouldn't hinder my ability to operate the motorcycle, but without seeing the gages, it's almost pointless.
I think I'm really going to like these bags, but I doubt I'll be using them together at any point. I'll probably use the large bags for my long trips, and the smaller bags for any daily items that I might need to carry to work, or into town. Either way, I'm glad I got these bags, and am still happy with the smoking deal I got them for.
Here are some pics.
