General experience:
Completed MSF in '01 and began to dabble in street riding on my friend's bikes.
In May of 2004 I bought my first bike and in August of 2004 I began seriously riding when I attended my first trackday at NHIS in Loudon NH.
During the 2005 season I attended 8-10 additional trackdays at NHIS and VIR North.
In 2006 I formed
Cheap Bastid Racing and began racing in the
Loudon Road Racing Series. There I earned multiple podium finishes, often more than one per weekend and bumped from Novice to Amateur status once I completed the minimum 10 races. I also began volunteering as a Guest Instructor for
Tony's Track Days in the middle of the 2006 season and am officially on staff as a Control Rider and Instructor for the 2007 season.
My 2007 goals are to help train safer street and track riders at
Tony's Track Days events, become the 2007 LRRS Production Twin Amateur Champion, be in the top 5 in Lightweight Sportsman and advance to Expert for the 2008 season.
2007 update: An unfortunate accident during the first race weekend delayed my Amateur Championship goals as I sustained a broken wrist which required surgery. One titanium plate and six titanium screws later I'm back together & undergoing therapy to strenghten the joint. 3 months after the accident I resumed racing and instructing for
Tony's Track Days
My 2008 goals: FINALLY become an MSF Rider Coach like all my other MSF employed friends have been telling me I should, continue my racing carreer & maybe do some more long distance trips.
