I think you'll enjoy the power between 6 and 9K, it's anything like my Tona, it's got some good snap that range...the full HP kicks in around 8500. Enjoy the test ride...let us know what you think! |
Well I test rode a '06 S3... Wow, the midrange grunt is very different than my FZ, very happy with that
And the sound on decel was very nice as well. Basically looking for a city street bike, so I think it would do me well versus my FZ which needs to spin up to get it's power.
However...
The dang saleman had to show me a '06 Ducati Sport 1000 with a Zard exhaust on it that puts harley's to shame. I didn't have time to test ride it, but now I'm tempted... Never messed with a V-Twin before but I hear it's powerband is all in the lower RPM's so it's pretty instant. That and I'm a sucker for the cafe racer style bikes...
