Default How can you tell if your carbs are jetted?

Hi, I recently bought a 95 zx7 and it was fouling the plugs out if I let it idle for any length of time. I took them off and had them cleaned out cause I thought a float was sticking. The guys that cleaned them told me that they weren't that dirty at all and the pilot screws? were turned out more than they've ever seen. 3 1/4 turns. Then manual says they are supposed to be turned out 1 3/4 turns, so I set them to factory specs and it ran very lean. I readjusted them to 2 3/4 and it runs fine now. It has a carbon fiber muzzy system on it headers and all. So does the pilot screw have to be turned out that much more because of the exhaust thats on it or because its been jetted? I was just wondering because I want to jet it if its not already jetted, but I have no idea how to tell. I'm not even sure what jetting does really, and what the difference is between stage I II and III. I can only assume that it sprays more fuel faster or something to that effect. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to tell if this bike is jetted without taking the carbs apart?
