actually it's not a rumor, I forget what magazine had a feature in it, but one of the big mags did that had a bit of info. it's about time, granted until the 14 came around the busa was still kind of the hill, but it was starting to get pretty dated.
edit: I knew I remembered hearing something, but I was thinking of the b-king. I take it that's not the busa replacement though, especially considering it's naked.

Lose 20-50 lbs, +10-15 rwhp, and better brakes, and you'll have a winner. I'm hoping they don't change the body style too much.

Any info on the busa this early is just speculation. There won't be any official release of info until mid-summer.

mid summer? it's not even summer yet.
i raced a zx14 on the highway and that bike is no joke. literally, he cleared what would take me 20 seconds to clear in 5 seconds. the thing is ridiculous.
dropping 50 pounds on the busa is a lot of weight to get rid of. if the zx14 takes the busa past 120 then i'd say it is time to for an upgrade, but why drop the busa mid summer when most of the bike buying starts in spring. sounds like a baseless rumor to me.
